Topic:Multisensor Integrated Positioning and Navigation
Introduction: Together with the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), the Direct-Georeferencing (DG) Technology, with multisensor positioning and navigation systems as its core, has revolutionized the way how the geospatial data acquisition is performed using airborne, land, and marine vehicles. Mobile mapping becomes a standard surveying and mapping technique. Since the early 1990s, the DG Technology has been driving more and more advanced research activities and making more and more applications. Especially, as more and more low-cost positioning and orientation sensors commercially become available, more and more opportunities and possibilities have opened to us and advanced researches are highly demanded at the same time.
